Katy Perry’s Ultra-Private Beverly Hills Estate Hits the Market for $19.5 Million

Katy Perry is saying goodbye to her sprawling, guard-gated Beverly Hills mansion, located in the exclusive Hidden Valley neighborhood next to the homes of Adele and Nicole Kidman, which she purchased back in 2017.

While the property appears to have anything a home owner could ever want from a infinity pool and spectacular trees to private hiking trails, the 37-year-old pop star has been happily residing with her fiance Orlando Bloom and one-year-old daughter Daisy at their $14.2 million for a nine-acre mansion and compound in Montecito.

As she continues to spend more and more time in her hometown of Santa Barbara with her partner and family, the Firework singer’s move to offload the five-bedroom home seems to be a natural next step.

According to online records the home was sold for $9.2 million in 2007, ten years before she purchased it.

The two story estate built in 1959 is hidden at the end of a long private driveway and features a sparkling infinity pool surrounded by eucalyptus on the 1.13 acre grounds as well as a covered terrace, with plenty of space for entertaining, boasts views of the surrounding hills.

The property is also in close proximity to Penelope Cruz, Jennifer Lawrence, Cameron Diaz, Ellen and Zoe Saldana.

On its listing, the home is described as ‘one of the most private and special homes’ in the area with a ‘1/4 mile treelined drive with massive gates’ that lead up to the ‘contemporary regency style’ home.

Amenities include a sky-lit entry gallery, living room with a fireplace and views of the expansive lawn as well as a  marble bath, double closets and large garden terrace in the primary bedroom.

In addition to the private hiking trails, the owner and guests can enjoy ‘Franklin Canyon trails direct within the neighborhood.’

For those that love entertaining, the description noted that there is parking available for dozens of cars.

The Dark Horse lives with her infant and fiance, who she’s raved about being a very hands-on father.

The pair first got together in 2016, before taking time apart a year later. In April 2018 they officially rekindled and he proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2019.

On Daisy’s first birthday, in August 2021, the American Idol judge tweeted ‘1 year ago today is the day my life began.’

In a past interview with Variety about motherhood she said: ‘I never really truly knew about unconditional love. Obviously my mother has that for me, but I didn’t really experience it in the first-person until I had my child. And that was just a whole ‘nother level.’

Katy continued to say that some of her previous work with kids and being an entertainer to kids, ‘prepared me for motherhood, but nothing can prepare you for that wave of unconditional love.’

She also said motherhood gave her a new lease on time. ‘Having a child a legit, constant timestamp. In the past, it’s all a blur, but then you have a child that’s growing before your very eyes and it’s just so profound.’
