Jenson Button, a Formula 1 racer, has listed his Palm Springs, California, Beautiful Brentwood Home for $6.6M

The 43-year-old Mr. Button and his wife, interior designer Brittny Button, had grand ambitions for the Spanish Colonial-style house, but “we just don’t have the time to spend towards it because of finishing two [other home] restorations, our two toddlers, and work,” Ms. Button said. The house, which was built in 1946, “has such potential and really only needs little remodeling,” she continued.

According to listing agent Joseph Bandeaux of HK Lane Real Estate, who put the house on the market last week, the property’s design features—from the striking wood-vaulted ceilings to the columns and Saltillo tile flooring—are what make it stand out. It is being offered fully furnished. This house is particularly magnificent when compared to the nearby homes, Mr. Babineaux told Mansion Global. It has Old World beauty while while having a modern flair, and was created by renowned architect John Porter Clark.

The low spread is surrounded by walls, gates, and hedges. So, you feel like you’re isolated from it all and in your own personal sanctuary, he said. “Yet, you are conveniently located in the center of Palm Springs, close to everything.

According to Ms. Button, the pair purchased the property in February 2022 for $2.4 million after falling in love with its Spanish-style architecture. The couple has decorated the house “in a fresh, more contemporary fashion” and incorporated “plenty of vintage furniture details” in the year since they purchased it. All the light fixtures were replaced, and we painted,” she stated.

But outside, where there is a pool, a Jacuzzi, a fire pit, a grill, and views of the mountains, is where the couple most enjoys spending time together.

The outside living area is our favorite aspect of the house, Ms. Button added. “It’s a true Palm Springs oasis and very secluded.”
