Givenchy heir bought a stylish $14.5 million Malibu beach house

If you’re an heir of the sprawling Givenchy fashion empire, your bank balance has got to be solid! And proving so is Olivier de Givenchy, who recently expanded his real estate portfolio with an uber-luxe Malibu beach home costing a whopping $14.5 million!

Situated inside a gated 1.4-acre premise on one of the area’s most sought-after streets, the seaside vacation getaway is a paradise of its own. It features seven bedrooms and six baths spread across more than 6,300 square feet of mostly white living space.

The luxurious home further boasts antique walnut floors, wood-plank walls, walls of glass for ample lighting, and a classic cedar-shingled and white-trimmed structure. Its living room offers an expected sense of grandeur with a majestic coffered ceiling, a fireplace, and French doors that open to a themed patio.

However, that’s not all! The house is a treat for those who love to host (and feast) alike! Its fireside dining room comes with built-in china cabinets, while the kitchen features top-in-the-class stainless appliances, stone countertops, and a sprawling eat-in island. There’s also a prep area that connects to a cozy breakfast corner, amongst other amenities.

Speaking of rooms, the master boasts high ceilings, a sitting area, and a walk-in closet, plus a sky-lit bath equipped with an oversized soaking tub. There’s also an ample number of sit-outs, workout zones, and an office to complete the warm interiors.

On the outside, the property features a covered alfresco dining and lounging patio with a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace, a pool and spa flanked by a grassy lawn, a pool house on the side, a full-size tennis/basketball court, and a three-car garage topped by a guesthouse.

The gorgeous home was constructed in the year 2001 and was previously owned by tech entrepreneur and investor Asher Delug who paid $11 million to purchase it in 2016. It was listed on the market by Matt Rapf of Pritchett-Rapf and Terre Steinbeck of Rodeo Realty for $15.5 million but with the deal closing at $14.5 million.

Given the high-profile guests that the Givenchys host, this one is an apt buy!
